A Morning in Feldkirch

Every time I find myself in some European town I've never heard of, I think we should all blow off seeing all the must-go cities, and only travel to the lesser known cities. They're less expensive, the people are more open and warm, and you immediately feel like you're a part of the town...you can sense what it would be like to live there. We just happened to find this little town Feldkirch, on the Austrian border, and even though we were only there for 16 hours, we loved it.
Above, the Hotel Alpenrose, where we stayed.
Above two pictures from Naturkost, a lovely organic store.
Above six pictures from the Schattenberg Castle Museum
An old map from the museum, and I zoomed in on the area we were traveling for our story.
