We were in the Santa Barbara area over spring break. One morning we went to an event at the Four Seasons Biltmore there. So beautiful. If you're in the area, it's worth walking through the lobby, and maybe having a drink at the bar.
For the other end of the spectrum, but equally a favorite, try lunch at the Rose Cafe. We used to only think of La Superica for Mexican in Santa Barbara, until our friends turned us on to this. It has probably the best huevos rancheros I've ever had.
OH wow that food looks amazing and I'm not even surprised, it's coming from the BIltmore. They have some of the best brunch plates ever. Beautiful hotel and the beach across the street is stunning as well and one of the best beaches in town, at least in my opinion. I've always had a good time visiting Santa Barbara as I do it quite often. Thoroughly in love with everything it has to offer, hopefully I can go back soon and spend some quality time with friends and family there! I'm a huge fan of staying at the Sandman Inn (www.thesandmaninn.com). Relaxing and highly affordable, the best combination ever!
