And Philly's Cool Too

If this last week hasn't convinced you yet that you should make a booking to go to Philadelphia while it's the worst winter in history (well, my history anyway), then maybe this very cool Cafe Lift and its neighbor the very cool store Morihata will push you to do it. To get the whole list of what to do and where to stay and eat, click here.

  2. After reading all your posts about Philly, on a whim we decided to visit and had an excellent time, mainly because of all the places we went that you'd suggested! We had dinner at the Dandelion (loved it) and breakfast at Cafe Lift, followed by a (several towel) shopping spree next door at Morihata. We also went to the Reading Terminal market and also to the Italian neighborhood -- some great old school grocery/deli's there. Only wish we'd been there on a Saturday when the market is in full swing. Anyway -- thanks so much for all your great suggestions which made our couple of days away truly wonderful!
